Current Shows I Watch

I thought I’d go through some of my favorite TV shows. I have to add that these aren’t what I consider to be the best or most innovative TV shows – just the ones that I’ve enjoyed the most. Hopefully there will be a few new ones to add to the list this year but I’m not holding my breath!

• The Office (UK version) – The UK version of the office was a great show – the US version wasn’t anywhere near as good. If anyone hasn’t seen the original series then I recommend you watch it. The comedy is more subtle than the US version but probably a lot better.
• Friends – Even though it isn’t the funniest TV show ever, or even an innovative one, if I sit down for a quick snack I always look to see if an episode is on. Like Modern Family it’s “gentle” comedy, and the canned laughter is grating at the best of times, but it’s can be surprisingly funny and an easy watch.
• House – I’ve only just got into House but I’m glad I did. It’s a great show and although it can be a bit slow at times I’m still enjoying it. I’m only on the second season at the moment and I’m hoping it diversifies a bit, otherwise it’s difficult to see how it could last so many seasons without becoming boring.
